And then the Dready Tshirt ...

dready Tshirts should have arrived at Turtle Bay restaurants in UK, today 8th May 2013 ...
the coconut cart in the image is an integral part of the Turtle Bay branding and so i used it and slipped two dready characters (the Trustafarians, two of my favorites) onto the cart ...

let me just take a moment to say the shirts came from brussels belgium, supplied by scimitar sports out of worcester england and were printed at wild thang limited in liverpool ... we stuck very close to home on the production of these; that was important to us (even though we had an opportunity to produce in china) as it always is when dready produces his own shirts.

the idea of Dready Tshirts is that the image on the shirt should match the art that you hang on the wall; this makes it a pretty difficult printing process in screen printing because it takes a lot of colours and specialist printers ... but in the end it's also what makes the a dready transcend the normal T.

turtle bay is a caribbean themed restaurant chain in the uk and dready got together with them and then the cayman dept of tourism joined with us and together we're a bit of a triumvirate of caribbean coolness. the department of tourism is running a 3 month promotion with turtle bay in which customers get a chance to win a trip to cayman and in conjunction dready is giving away art.

you can see the Tshirts here and at www.turtlebay.co.uk or visit any of the turtle bay restaurant locations, Milton Keynes, Bristol, Southampton and Nottingham ... i've eaten there and the food my lovelies is delicious.

love the shirt, love life, love the dready
