dready london town
i like london ...
i first saw it when i was 8, a little boy come to buy school uniforms and t'ing ... it was big and noisy; bigger than kingston yes, but the noise was different, less music more haste, less the smell of cooking but more food ... i'd already been to miami, to mexico city, to toronto ... but the haste in london seemed constant to my little ness.
then i was gone back to the americas and i never visited london again, after i left boarding school at 12, till i was in my 30's ...
it has charmed me since then; it is a great vibrant city that retains its village feel (ish) despite its sprawling untidy-ness.
